Wilson adds security to Stone Brothers Racing

Wilson Security has become a naming rights sponsorship of Tim Slade's Stone Brothers Racing FG Falcon.
With plans for 2010 needing to be reassessed after the sale of Paul Cruickshank's Racing Entitlement late in 2009, the opportunity for a seamless transition presented itself when Cruickshank joined the new REC owner James Rosenberg Racing.
"We had a great relationship with all the existing sponsors and when the opportunity to move collectively as a group presented itself it seemed a natural fit" said John McMellan, CEO Wilson Security.
"A fundamental philosophy of our business is to develop our people and our talent, seeing this ethos carried over into our motorsport activities initially with Fabian and now with Tim is very pleasing."
The car which will run number 47, features a new livery but retains the black, white and fluoro green colours that were initially introduced by WSR in 2009.
The livery design by Simon Wills, is in line with its stable mates from SBR with a view to reinforce the cohesion and consistency of the three SBR entries.
"The fact that the car will be prepared and run by Ross and Jimmy and the SBR crew also made the decision an easy one as we have the utmost respect for their commitment and capability," said John.
"Interestingly enough we also see a synergy in their business with ours whereby we have both succeeded by innovating and challenging the established players."
