Get your entries in now for world's largest continuous motoring event
Over 1500 cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles are expected to take part in this year's Bay to Birdwood Run, the world's largest continuous motoring event.
But don't think too long about joining in the fun because if you leave it any later than Friday 15 August forget it.
That’s the cut off day for entries for the event that begins on Sunday 28 September.
According to Bay to Birdwood chairman, Kym Hulme he usually receive dozens of calls and late entries, but the overwhelming popularity and sheer scale of the Bay to Birdwood Run necessitates a strict cut off date of Friday 15 August.
Entry forms are now available online for veteran, vintage or any vehicles manufactured on or before 31 December 1955.
Tens of thousands of spectators traditionally line the route to watch the cars, buses, trucks and motorcycles travel from Adelaide Shores to the post event party at the renowned National Motor Museum in the Adelaide Hills town of Birdwood.
Generations of South Australians have jostled for the best spots along the route to watch this exciting event.
First run in 1980, the event has established itself as Australia's premier historic motoring event,
